Charles Wilson Practice Director Penna Enterprise Executive Interim and Search

Charles has over 20 years’ experience in Executive and Senior level Search and Interim Management recruitment. He has worked across all aspects of the public and private sectors from arms-length bodies to central government and SMEs to blue-chip organisations. These assignments have included board level roles and senior interim management placements across most business function up to and including C-suite. His focus is on the private sector and commercially led public sector bodies. Recent successful mandates have included: CEO of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult , Interim Transformation Director for Gooch & House (international manufacturing business) and Interim Transformation Director to the International Nuclear Services organisation.

Roger RussellPractice Director Penna Enterprise, Executive Search and Board Appointments

Roger has over 20 years’ experience of recruiting Board and C-Suite level positions across a variety of sectors. He joined Penna in 2015 having previously ran business units with full P&L responsibility within a FTSE 100 company. A versatile and experienced headhunter Roger supports companies and public sector institutions in the UK and abroad find the C-Suite and Board level talent they need to deliver success and sustainable growth. His current mandates include establishing a Board and executive structure for a Development Company and an international search for a world leading research Institute in the Life Sciences sector.

Claudia SousaLead Research Consultant, Penna Enterprise

Following graduation Claudia worked within the commercial sector in the UK before joining Penna in 2017. As the lead researcher for the Enterprise Practice, she has supported the recruitment of Board and C Suite- positions requiring commercial and technical leadership for companies and institutions that have public and private sector shareholders. Her focus is on building relationships, really getting to know candidates on both a personal and professional level, and therefore understanding where they will add value for our clients. Claudia is multi lingual and passionate about delivering diversity within senior level recruitment processes. She ensures that Penna’s commitment here is maintained in its search assignments.

Cindy Oyenowo Recruitment Coordinator

Cindy is a highly experienced recruitment coordinator and has a wealth of experience in supporting the logistics and project management for complex and high-level recruitment assignments. She also maintains statistical analysis and management information including diversity monitoring and due diligence records. She is another access point for candidates and ensures candidate queries are actioned in line with KPI’s established for each mandate.

Ann HartleyHead of Assessment

Ann is a Business Psychologist with 30 years’ consultancy experience as an assessment specialist and leads Penna’s Business Psychology team. She has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Surrey and an MSc in Organisational Psychology from Bristol University. She has designed and delivered selection and development solutions from entry level to CEO and Board level appointments for clients in the commercial and public enterprise sectors . This has included developing innovative and ground breaking immersive digital assessments for clients operating in sensitive security contexts to supporting organisations move their entire assessment processes online. She is accustomed to working closely with senior stakeholders in developing their assessment needs and advising Board level selection panels and RemCo’s.

Kathryn KempsterDirector

Kathryn brings with her extensive industry experience and a pedigree in building meaningful and sustainable relationships with senior clients, through building deep insight into their strategic requirements. She has significant experience supporting complex commercial clients operating in a competitive global talent market. In particular she has worked with her clients to solve their challenges utilising contemporary digital talent marketing techniques reflecting the latest developments in recruitment technology and resulting in greater diversity and return on their recruitment investment. Kathryn joined Penna in June 2020, prior to that she was Regional Vice President for AIA Worldwide, London. Since joining Penna she has successfully supported the company’s drive to support UK companies and multinationals in the commercial and public enterprise sectors.
